While it is true that our company is good at “repair triage”, we do not want you to rely on phone diagnosis in lieu of a professional diagnosis performed by one of our certified technicians. I can not tell you how many times I have witnessed a professional guess, based on the symptoms, turn out to be something other than expected.
Think about this: suppose I told you, based on the symptoms that you described, that the repair cost would exceed the price of a replacement TV and your TV is uneconomical to repair. You then decide to dispose of your TV and put it out on the curb of the street in front of your house. The next day your neighbor spots it and brings it in to our service center for a diagnosis. Our certified Television technician disassembles the TV and finds that the TV was not functioning because of a simple loose connector not making a good connection. A simple cleaning of the connector and repositioning and re-seating of the connector restores the TV to good working order. Your neighbor comes back to retrieve his new TV and tells us about his great luck and how he found this wonderful TV on the street. How would you feel?
