Suggestions from our shipping and receiving department:
1) Small items that easily fit in a box are most suitable for shipping. Equipment such as:
camcorders, digital cameras, VCRs, stereo equipment, DVD players, CD players, computers, printers and fax machines
are the most common.
2) Print and fill out the Request for Service form (if you don't have a printer, just hand write the information
on a separate piece of paper) and attach it directly to the item to be shipped. Place the item in
a plastic bag or cover it with paper so that the packing material will not get lodged in any openings ie: peanuts should
not get inside the VCR doors etc. Any accessories should be put in a bag before packing.
3) Use a box that allows for a minimum of 3 inches of approved packing material on all sides (such as bubble wrap or styrofoam
peanuts - which can be purchased at the post office or at Mail Boxes Etc.). Heavier equipment will require more packing
material. Remember, the more packing material you use, the safer your product will be.
4) Insure your package for the appropriate amount.
5) Print the mailing label, cut it to size, fill out the sender's information section and attach it securely to the package.
You may also use your own label. It is a good idea to print your return address directly on the box in the upper left corner.
